Some readers may be too young to recall, but back when everyone had to carry their bags, aeroplanes were made out of this terrible smelling veiny blue cheese and ran on dreambeams. It took Plath’s revolutionary invention to send a message to the air travel industry that it was time to straighten up and fly right.
